In his take off to relay his enthusiastic creative sound, 9Letters has already begun his plan of providing variety for the well known hyphy Bay Area. Representing Oakland, California 9Letters is no rookie when it comes to talent. He played Football at Bishop O’ Dowd Highschool where he won the CIF AA state championship his junior year of 2016 and began to start receiving Division 1 college attention. Music hit the explosive mind of the young artist when he was a freshman in highschool, however he didn’t pursue it seriously until this year upon releasing his first song titled “Find a Way.” 9Letters plans to drop another EP currently untitled but in the works. He announced to Us that “I’m really excited about this one, I feel like my first one was good, and I’m really locked in now getting better and better.” As we acknowledge his upcoming we must acknowledge what makes him. Facing the loss of 4 close friends he’s learned through adversity to never give up. Battling an anxiety disorder he says that “Through everything I’ve learned it’s better and more respected when you are yourself, and you have to use the ones who are no longer here as motivation.” Maturing and growing he’s found that there is more to life than football, he can expand and express himself with the beauty in music. He’s found something he’s able to be passionate about outside of sports. As he grows we hope to see him land his dream feature with Lil Uzi Vert and second Lil Tecca. Until the new EP drops make sure to stream the current project, “Believe It” currently out on all streaming platforms.
